Snapdec spent the morning of 15 October at Wisma FMM for the Maybank New Economy Forum – Powering Future-Ready Manufacturing, a half-day smart manufacturing session organised by Maybank with the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM).
We attended as a selected partner in the Maybank Technology Solutions Providers Programme, which connects manufacturers with technology partners to accelerate growth, productivity and innovation. Maybank is opening financing pathways for business owners who want to solve real operational bottlenecks with technology, and the forum put financing and the technology to spend it on in the same room.

Financing and technology in the same room
For many manufacturers, the bottlenecks are familiar: stock counts that never match, orders keyed in twice, and a month-end that waits on the warehouse. What usually holds them back is the cost and the risk of fixing it.
The question we heard most at the booth was simple: is there a grant for the system, or a loan? The Maybank Technology Solutions Providers Programme answers the financing side, pairing financing pathways from Maybank, such as a technology loan, with selected technology partners who can put that financing to work on the factory and warehouse floor. Owners can weigh that alongside government digitalisation grants, and our team helps scope the system and prepare the quotation an application usually needs.
Our message: connect what you already have
Our message to the industry was simple. Snapdec connects what you already have. SnapWarehouse+ fills the gaps your operations are missing. No rip and replace. Your operations keep running.
“Most factories don't need a new ERP to fix their inventory. They need the warehouse connected to the AutoCount or SQL system they already trust. That is where a WMS pays back fastest.”
Ts. Quincy Tan, CEO & Co-Founder, Snapdec
For a manufacturer looking at a warehouse management system in Malaysia, the usual advice is to replace everything with one large system. We showed the opposite. SnapWarehouse+, our AI-powered Warehouse Management System (WMS), works alongside the accounting software a factory already runs. Inventory moves in the warehouse are captured as they happen, and confirmed delivery orders sync to AutoCount or SQL Accounting, where the LHDN e-Invoice is issued. No double entry, and stock in the WMS matches stock in the books. Storekeepers use handheld screens in Malay, English or Chinese, and a starter edition can go live within a month.
Above that sits SnapAI Agent, our AI-native platform. Once the gaps are filled and the data is flowing, AI agents can take on the routine work between systems: chasing exceptions, preparing reports and flagging what needs a decision. That is the path we shared from IR4.0 towards Agentic AI, one practical step at a time.
Alongside fellow Tech Solution Providers
It was great to stand alongside fellow Technology Solutions Providers in the programme, together making smart manufacturing more resilient across Malaysia. Thank you to Maybank and FMM for bringing manufacturers, financing and technology partners together under one roof.
How would this fit your factory or warehouse?
Talk to our team for a no-obligation session. We'll look at the systems you already run and show where SnapWarehouse+ and SnapAI Agent fill the gaps, without replacing what works. Ask us about the Maybank financing route, too.
